Tulum Ruins: The beauty of the site strives in its location besides the sea; Tulum offers a stunning sight to the blue waters of the Caribbean with a blend of Mayan history. Tulum was known to its residents as Záma one of the last pre-Columbian Mayan cities and was actually a fortress. There is a large wall built as protection and 50 buildings dedicated to worship. This is definitely a gorgeous site you must not miss.
Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve: Located 7 Km south from Tulum is the Centro Ecológico Sian Ka'an ("where the sky is born") the largest reserve in the Caribbean. Is over 5200 KM² and comprise 23 archeological sites, 103 mammal species, 336 bird species, turtle nesting and more, all over savannas, tropical forest, lagoons, cenotes, mangroves and coral reefs. Hidden World: Is a Cenote park, (www.hiddenworlds.com.mx) offers adventurous tours to the beautiful cenotes such: Cenote dos ojos the largest set of underwater caverns in the world, Tal Be Ha the subterranean mystical garden and the newly discovered Dreamgate.
Xel-Ha: a water theme park that offers water and adventure activities, natural and ecological attractions, aquarium, turtle camp and dolphins.
